The Sutter Street location of La Boulange was one of the locations acquired by Pascal Rigo in 2015. It was quickly re-opened as La Boulangerie, but it closed in 2019. In 2019, a Loving Cup (frozen yogurt) was opened in this location.
About La Boulange
La Boulange was a popular bakery chain in San Francisco, known for its French pastries and café-style meals. It was started by Pascal Rigo in 1996 at the 2325 Pine St. location. The original locations have closed after the brand was acquired and subsequently phased out by Starbucks. A handful of locations were re-acquired by Pascal Rigo and re-opened as La Boulangerie.
