La Boulange was a popular bakery chain in San Francisco, known for its French pastries and café-style meals. It was started by Pascal Rigo in 1999 at the 2325 Pine St. location. The original locations have closed after the brand was acquired and subsequently phased out by Starbucks. Pascal Rigo's new bakery chain - La Boulangerie - is operating in several of the original La Boulange locations.
