The Buena Vista

The Buena Vista Cafe, located near Aquatic Park, was established in 1916 and has long been a San Francisco institution. In 1952, the bar introduced Irish coffee to the United States, creating the recipe with the help of a journalist and a local dairy owner. Its Irish coffees quickly became wry popular, attracting visitors from around the world. Today, it remains equally beloved by locals and tourists.
